My roomate(american) is sending his mom duck tongue for christmas(among other strange chinese snacks).
My heart goes out to her.
addendum:
One of my most memorable gifts was recieving the standard flimsy macy's box, and opening it to find a "Pagemaker 5.0" box inside, and my dad giggling, since it was him, of course, who wrapped my present. I was a little surprised, but not really. My dad is a sneaky man. (Inside the Pagemaker box was the gift(which I can't remember, but I can still picture the Pagemaker box in my mind)
